Bad Day

I think I'll redo today and try again tomorrow. I hate today. GO AWAY! So today I walked out of my job. Seriously stupid, but why not? I hated it. Now I don't know what I'm going to do.

I guess we'll see?

Our Weekend with Annaleen..continued!

I know I started on this post last week, but I had to show the pictures to prove we had a great time! We had my work Christmas party (late, but hey it's retail we'll take what we can get!) so Annaleen hung out at my parent's house. Here's some pictures we took before we left. I never get all dolled up so it was so fun!




I love this picture of us. We had so much fun taking pictures. I think I have like 20 of just us making silly faces.

The next morning we got all bundled up and headed to the Calgary Hitmen game. If you know canadians, you know they love hockey. I am definitely all for hockey. I love it sooo much now! Our best friends Elaine and Drew came too and it was so much fun!
This is to show you how bundled up we were. It was FREEZING! Also, Annaleen's mittens are huge because they were actually mine haha.

After the game we took Annaleen home and went home and went to bed. We were so tired! I love weekends with her, and we enjoy having her around. The cats get so jealous though!

Christmas!

I've been slacking quite a bit lately so I'm going to update my blog on everything in the past couple months. I figured I should start with Christmas! So Randy and I were alone for Christmas because my parents & Megan head to Utah for the holidays. We had a little Christmas before everyone left.

We definitely had a great Christmas with my family, and then a special Christmas with just Randy and I. It was definitely a great holiday. I hope everyone had a great one too! What did you all get?

Weekend with Annaleen

This is our first weekend with Annaleen this year. We were so excited to get her! I'm still a little out of it because of my hospital stay, but it's still fun!

We were just playing Guess Who and I just had to hurry and type something hilarious she asked. We were playing the animal side and it was me vs her. She asked "Is your character pretty?" It caught me and Randy so off guard that we started laughing. She looked us like we were crazy! I'll be adding more to this later. :)

My Happy List

We've had such a great weekend with Annaleen that I decided to make (my first) happy list!

1. Annaleen of course!

This little girl brings so much sunshine to our lives. She's full of questions, and has quite the personality! We love her so much, and we're so happy she's in our lives.

2. All my family

The other night I was in the hospital and my parents checked up on me constantly after I left. It meant a lot to me to know they were thinking about me.

3. My Literati Ereader

I know it's a material thing, but I love it! I can take it everywhere and I've been reading so much more now! I've read "Unbearable Lightness" by Portia de Rossi (I think EVERY girl should read this book, it's a great insight into how you should think about your body, and how it can affect your mind so easily!) and "The Chosen One". It's a fiction about a polygamous sect. It's a very sad book, but it was a great insight into how they think. I think it was written by a former fundamentalist.

4. Randy

Because he's my husband! Duh! He stayed at the hospital with me and slept in the most random places (chair, car, floor..) and he didn't give (much) grief about it. I love him to pieces!

5. Tangled

Because I'm watching it again right now and I love it as much as Annaleen. I'm laughing my head off!

Weight Loss Journal..

I decided last week I was going to lose quite a bit of weight. I knew I needed to be healthier so I just decided to jump in! I'm going to use my blog as a weight loss journal so I can blog about what I'm doing, and hopefully get some support!

My weight when I started was 192.5! AH! The weight crept on so fast, and I have to say I really got comfortable when I started dating Randy. Now a year and a half later I've gained quite a bit. So hear I go.

It's been a week and my weight is now at 183.5!
I've just been eating five small meals a day. Sometimes it's just a special K bar for one of my snacks. I've also started my new job so I'm on my feet running around for 5-8 hours a day. So I haven't hit the gym yet. Also, on my days off (like today) I go and walk the mall for 30-45 minutes.

I'm so excited to start this new part of my life! I've set a bunch of goals for me.

1. Lose 50 lbs. (to start)
2. Be comfortable enough to be in a swimsuit in August in Vegas for my 21st!
3. Train for a 5K.
4. Complete a 5K.
5. Be completely comfortable in my own body.

I'm excited to start!!

A kid?

I was bored today so I decided to figure out what Randy and I's child would look like.




The conclusion? I'm still laughing. What do you guys think?

Promotion!

I got a promotion at work! Instead of being a boring cashier now I'm in merchandising. So basically I run around like a chicken with it's head cut off! It's been really good because now I can be more active.

ALSO!

I started my "diet" last thursday. Let's just say it's going amazing and now I'm 7 lbs lighter already! It's been really easy for me! I haven't even started working out yet because I have a nasty cold.
I want to add in that it is -25 degrees today and so I'm staying inside watching Gilmore Girls and Real Housewives.

I just wanted to say that I'm going to Vegas in August for my 21st Birthday! I've never been! (Except driving through a couple times) I am so excited because my birthday buddies (Zoe and Meagan) are coming too! WOOOT! So now I need to know what the best places in Vegas are?
